Nature's World

Nature's World

A Poem by Ian Caithness
"

This poem was inspired by 'Blessed of Love for Life' by Lorraine Pearson. It is a direct contrast to her interpretation of the world and I perceive that it challenges some of her ideology whilst also reinforcing other parts. I hope you enjoy it.

"

Chapters of Life continue regardless,

Paths of Destiny led by a lantern.

The man in the darkness guiding our lives

Leading the masses into the waters.

This is the tale of Love survives...

This is the tale of the Promised Times.

Book upon book on the shelf of God,

These are the Books, collecting the dust.

Upon each name a forgotten tale is told.

This is the tale of the Forgotten Boys

Each one sold for nothing, nothing but gold.

This is the story of Silent Memories...

Rivers of Darkness binding the souls.

Pages are lost to the fires of Passion.

Danger and darkness lurk in every corner

The Devil of Nature snaring the lost travellers.

All that can be heard are tears of the mourning.

This is the novel of Nature's World.

I think it's interesting that you split parts of nature into "chapters" that make the whole book. This is an excellent comparison, which I love. Wonderfully done.
