How did I ever?

How did I ever?

A Poem by Ian Caithness
"

This poem, again, is a piece based on love. This has a positive outlook on love, though it can be condemning at times. Enjoy it.

"

Your face engraved upon my head,
Your words are running through my mind,
How do I describe what I feel for you,
When this love I have is so mysterious.

I wish to hold you in my arms,
Feeling warmth and love throughout,
I long to kiss your tender lips,
Holding on to this precious moment.

My mind so wanders back to you,
I don’t understand how to tell you I love you,
My mind perplexing, filled with your love,
When shall I feel your love once again?

Such raw emotion, soothing my soul,
Such pure beauty, emanates from your face,
How did I ever, come to have you?
How did I ever, learn to show you such love?

I wish to tell you, I love you so true;
Words stutter in my mouth, what shall I do?
So now I write, with flare and a truth,
To show you how much, I truly need you.
