Addiction.

 

Sweet drug

feast's bitter poison

found without prescription.

 

Come

let me take you by mouth

multiplied in champagne.

 

Barbiturate me now

soft through the main line

lodge under my skin

and ansesthetize

the nightmare

in my nerves filgrane

 

Addicted in life hangover

I can't peter out

of you, my love, the drug.
