"When..."

"When..."

A Poem by Yasha
"

A mother's day poem for my mom. I love you!

"

"WHEN...""I'll never hate you...

Even when..."

You stand over me, hands on your hips

your eyebrows draw together, pursing your thick lips

You tell me about the things that I always miss

you are angry but caring, knowing when to hiss

"I cry with a smile when

I remember the times you..."

Got mad at me, but smiled to cheer me up

found me crying, and bandaged all my cuts

told me that soon we'll have really good luck

Laughed at papa and me, covered in muck

"I smile the most when..."

I make you very happy or proud

you tell me I laugh way, way, too loud

you hug me and say everything will be okay

You read this poem, in the middle of May

"I can't tell you when

I love you because..."

I never stopped loving you to begin with.

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!

Yasha,

True form of your love for your mother come clear through this poem. It is because she loves you so much, you have this gift. Embrace the memories and hold them dear, engrave the love within your heart for her. Keep it safe and never let go of those memories, for even during the storm comes a spark of light creating a sanctuary of happiness.

I am blessed to know of you through your story telling words.

Enjoyed and looking forward to more of your words.
