Orb Of Death.

Orb Of Death.

A Poem by xXxCynicalWarsxXx

The sky is black with a high orb of white.

I stare into the darkness of a roaring ocean,

The sea mist a cold slap to my rotting flesh.

The sand slices my bare feet a million times

As I walk to the edge of the horizon.

Cold, chilling, bone-numbing waters close in all around.

I wade deeper in, my white gown clinging to my body.

My teeth chatter behind purple lips

And my will is driven under.

I stare at the darkness, pushing further to the edge.

My auburn hair caress my skin,

My amber eyes a distance away from lifelessness.

This is hard, so lethal to fight anymore.

My fingers ease through the liquid salt.

And I utter my last words to the night.

‘I love you…’

And sink into the murky depths below,

Letting it all fill my lungs.

The sky is black with a high orb of white.

And I know you’re staring up at it,

Thoughts of me, unknowing.

‘I love you…’ you utter to the night.

You close your eyes and smile, unknowing.

The sky was black with a high orb of death.
