Birds And Canvas'.

Birds And Canvas'.

A Poem by xXxCynicalWarsxXx

This canvas is large and blank, white are it's rough edges, white is it in gloom.

I've painted it grey before, and knew that was no good.

No not at all.  Canvas didn't like being grey so I painted him white.

He's too bleak now and need some colors to cheer him up.

I stand alone in this hour, alone in this room, alone to the flesh that is my own.

But I feel someone is beneath my skin, and I want to desperately to draw them out,

To befirend them to the end of time.

Canvas says this is a good idea, to paint him a face and body and hearts and smiles.

The morning bird's are quiet now,

And how long have I've been picking up pieces of the Earth?

How long have I've been picking up my heart to draw it out of cavernous reverence?

I stare with these mad wild-eyes and beg to the girl that I am, that I show my true colors,

Show what I am capable of, and prove to the world that I am not as crazy as they think I am.

I will give you life.  Breathe the world into your lungs.

I will give you life.  Look the pain in the eye and banish it for eternity.

I will give you all that you need.

My fingers dip into the berry juice, the blood of animals, the chemicals of a concupiscence so strong.

I bring my fingers to the canvas of incurvation, and hover above the white bleak world,

Think long and hard of what I want the artwork to be.

My eyes soaked up every word spoken to me like a sponge does water,

And I squeeze the words out into a bucket of my own words too..

I take this paint of colors and splash them upon this here canvas.

I move my hands over the surface in swaying motions,

Circles of the birds, chirping the tune of amorous feelings.

I never wanted to bring pain to anyone.

I never wanted their world's to become grey and endless in harrowing.

I smooth these abrassie edges to the surface of calm waters and silk.

Believe to be true when I said that I loved you!

Singing aloud with the morning, I hop up and down, laugh to myself.

I will give you life.  Breathe the world into your lungs.

I will give you life.  Look the pain in the eye and banish it for eternity.

I will give you all that you need.

I smile brighter than the sun and the moon's light combined.

I take a step back, extend my colorful fingers, and take hold of the man in the picture.

The birds are singing louder than ever and I am dancing in this here painting.

Hands are holding my own and the smile is returned.

I tell these smiles of love and these hands of gentle touch to never stop being benignant.

Rich eyes of ecstacy encircle me and we're suddenly flying with the birds.

Blue skies and white pillows and creatures who float on air!

Oh I'll give you anything and everything my life amounts to!

You don't have to give me anything but that smile upon your face,

Those tears of joy and passion, and the time that you want me to have.

I'll give you forever if I can!

I'll be that bird of colors and I wash away all the grey.

A promise I cannot back down on!

I will give you life.  Breathe the world into your lungs.

I will give you life.  Look the pain in the eye and banish it for eternity.

I will give you all that you need.

I will give you me, if that's what it takes.
