Shed This Skin.

Shed This Skin.

A Poem by xXxCynicalWarsxXx

If I could shed my skin and become my heart,

I would be a white monster, a creature of the moon.

I would have purple eyes, long red hair, quite the fright.

My hands as claws, my legs as a goat's,

My torso as a human's.

I would sing beautifully, and black tears would stream.

It would rain what I felt, alone and sad.

Storm when I was angry.

Oh, I would fly through the sky, free!

I would feel the wind searing my pale skin,

Feel it kiss me with love and joy.

Oh I would be free!

I would always be with You!
