It's about a girl in my dreams

She's running and crying so it seems

She's running from something

Running 'til no one hears her cries

She's only running in my dreams

When she's out od breath

She'll stop her steps

And ask God "Why?"

"Why must you know

All my dark dirty secrets?

Why don't you know

I want to keep it?

Away from you

I will run!

All your help

I will shun!"

So it seems

She yells and screams

Only in my dreams

And when I wake

Her scream I can't shake

So I'll lie back down

Slumber in this town

And tell you the story
