Growing Up.(1)

Growing Up.(1)

A Poem by xXxCynicalWarsxXx

Forget what Father said.
He just wants to keep me
Under his financial wing;
For he's not ready to let me out
Into the cold an harsh world.

I'm scared to go myself.
But I want you every step of the way.
I want a house and a bed to wake up
With you in it still,
A sleepy smile so beautiful.

I want a kitchen all of my own
To do things in an cook
Your late night meals.
I want and I long for those things
You once asked of me with glazed eyes.

I smiled and grinned those days.
Now that it's possible,
Your heart is wild,
And you look anxious to do it.
Oh, you still call me love…
