A Penny For Another Memory.

A Penny For Another Memory.

A Poem by xXxCynicalWarsxXx

I don't mind being this silhouette you created me to be.
It was a perfect start and a bad finish line,
But I'm not liking how my head keeps going and going;
Like it won't shut up and give me reckless youth.
A teenagers perspective is what?
I don't think I've ever known.
And if I'm still breathing, then am I the lucky one?
I don't mind being this silhouette you created me to be.
I feel alright, and my smile is still here.
So if I know why I feel so deeply, and faint so easily,
I might just know how to be a teenager in love,
And still be an adult with great prospects.
It was a perfect start, and a second chance awaits.
Let it end beautifully and peacefully, okay?
I just love how you've changed me.

Just a rough piece spun from the constant saying that my mind is far advance than my body, that I know not how to enjoy my youth...
