I Held No Child Of Hell.

I Held No Child Of Hell.

A Poem by xXxCynicalWarsxXx

In the brink of a flow,
These words don't amount to much.
I held you close last night,
Imaginary mist in my hands.
And I fought to see what you wanted in me.
Dear boy, you're still clinging on?
Why don't you let go?
I wish I knew if the love you claim for me
Is still here and inside of you like the storm.
I wish to know if you want me as the girl
You promised you never make a widow.

I didn't see where you were going with that, but tragic. I imagine this is what most army wives think.
