Veils Like Rust.A Poem by xXxCynicalWarsxXx
Stuff me up like a worm digging its blinded mind to the center
Of a rotten world in glass mirrors and cerise markings. Push maggots threw my veins when you let go of the heat. You didn't say there would be a crows scratching voice in my head, Or the black lakes that I saw your toes curl in. Didn't the one who gave me my stitched back smile And worried burns beat me alive? My ashes aren't meant to be eaten, nor thrown, But you place them in milk like they're daisies, Like I did that night of solitude candles and burning ethers. So if I crashed out the pulling, fixated want, And hum out the noises of moaning animals and children laughing, Would the ink splatter my hands, peel back my skin green and yellow? Would the bruises we made blister and seep the disturbed Into unending shivers, ones to smile at? I told you the maggots go inside of my body like its candy. Those worms aren't happy they met my bones on a false cross. Stuff me and play with me like its all you ever dreamt of. © 2012 xXxCynicalWarsxXx |
