Watch Me Sink.

Watch Me Sink.

A Poem by xXxCynicalWarsxXx

Do my footsteps get louder when I walk away?
My color's faded out.
I want to live for a while,
Die with a smile no one can replace.
I want to be unchained by those hands.
Why do you add the links to yourself?
If my wrists cried for one moment
There would be no forgiveness from anyone.
And if I fell to your feet,
Begged for your mercy,
Would you understand I'm just lonely?
When you're so far away,
The days pass by so slowly.
When you were here, they went too quickly.
I cannot hold out like this.
I can hardly get myself afloat in the Fall.
Winter only means a cease fire to me.
Take it. Lose control.
I would rather know that you're still here
Than to wallow in monochrome.
