We're Friends?

She gave me a smile, said, "Here, keep it."
She gave me friendship and understanding.
I don't know what I give her but I hope it's just as sweet.
Maybe I can give her something good...
Oh, I know!
I take her hands and place something inside gently.
I say, "Here, keep this piece of me...It beats for you, always."
And my blood leaks over her fingers,
A piece of my mending heart in her palms.
"But why?" she wants to know.
"Because you're my best friend!" I chime and smile,
"You're A Risen Heroine, and I cannot deny you,
Never could I break my Untwin!"
And with a light dance,
I move away with the smile she gave me,
The friendship and understanding I shouldn't have been shown.
