A Cooling Question

A Cooling Question

A Poem by Hypnotique
"

I particularly enjoyed writing this one. I really like the verse and flow. I hope you do, too. Enjoy!

"

Cold.

Shiver,

Shiver,

Shake.

Hot breath licks cold air,

Laps up the side of the icicles

Hanging

Clanging

Banging there

A sensual caress,

A lover’s soft touch

It nips and it bites,

Just a little too much.

Harsh, unforgiving.

quiver,

quake,

Tremble.

Red lips have paled,

White turns to blue

Temperature scaled

Down,

Down

Down to

Zero degrees,

It’s leveled out,

Searing the flesh,

Heat in a drought.

Burning,

Icy,

Frigid,

Cold.

All pallor drained,

Stilled, without hue

Understanding

Nothing

Nothing,

Nothing is truth.

Barely a pulse,

Every nerve alight.

So answer this question:

Keep me warm tonight?
