The war within

I can see the storm coming,
And hear the waves crashing down.
You may choose to beg for mercy,
But you shall still drown.

An army's at your walls,
With every soldier of mankind,
And none shall come to your aid.
Not even the keepers of the mind.

Crossing the imagination bridge,
You found what you sought,
Within the chamber of dreams,
Atop the Temple of Thought.
