My Sky Is Blue

My Sky Is Blue

A Poem by Tobi
"

Appreciating what you've got

"

Step into your vessel,
All preparations are made.
Your memories of this place,
Will all soon fade.

You say you want to see the wonder,
That waits for you out there.
Without a second thought,
Without apparent care.

You took the journey with no hesitation.
Do you really hate this place so much?
Or have you simply had enough,
And need somewhere new to touch?

You believe you'll find someplace better,
Than what you've got at home.
Do you honestly think you'll be happier,
When you're all alone?

I'm not like the rest,
They all call you strange.
I can understand,
Sometimes everyone needs a change.

But at the thought of leaving,
Would you even shed a tear?
Why would you want to go?
When the best planet's right here.

What I like about the poem is this, so many options are here so many adventures life holds..and yet sometimes people focus on the bad.
