Human Pride

Human Pride

A Poem by Tobi
"

To reclaim what was once lost

"

Evil stems from the guilt,
That we feel everyday.
We're told the humans take,
and everything else has to pay.

Don't you see this is untrue?
Don't you see they've lied?
To help my brethren,
Let me restore your human pride.

Why should we feel guilty,
Just for being strong?
To be proud of our achievements,
I see nothing wrong.

It's not our fault.
Don't judge us all on the actions of a few.
We're not harming our world,
It's just no longer new.

It's not a sin,
As long as it's justified.
Let us celebrate our species.
Let us restore human pride.
