I’ve been living on Skeyla for a year now and to be honest, I’ve never been happier.  My language skills have improved greatly and I am now treated as one of the tribe.

My family wondered why I would volunteer for this mission.  To single-handedly leave the Solar System in order to explore and catalogue Earth-like planets within the local area, in preparation for future expansion of the Commonwealth.  Why would I want to do this?

This question, I did not understand.  I remember answering with, ‘Why would you want to stay?’.

If I had never left, I would have never seen Skeyla.
