Your Paradise

Your Paradise

A Poem by Neo-Water Basilisk
"

To prevent this, we have prescribed multiple forms of treatment for you.

"
Cacophonous desires
Buried beneath cold earth
Plague-winds shriek of nuclear winter
Decimated fields, doomed crops
Avarice rampant, hunger stockpiled
Trails of dead lead to contaminated wells
While you gaze down at this
And feast your eyes upon the strife
Your hollow laughter
From high mountains of carcasses
Stomp, crush, kill, steal, rip, burn, rape
We'll never find happiness here
In your paradise illimitable.
