prisoner of hatred.

prisoner of hatred.

A Poem by Huw

It has been my privilege

to have lusted and captured

the object of my lust.

Lust has on occasion

turned into passions

so deep I stopped thinking.

I have experienced passion

elevated to love so sweet

I could bear nor dare look elsewhere.

I have also been down the path

where love is taken for granted

fades and bring forth indifference

Indifference is a long route

that leads away from lust

away from passion and often

leaves love a prisoner of hatred.

About
I've been commenting on someone's drawings for a couple of months and she asked if I was a published poet. It made me laugh because I'd left school at 13 years old and never completed formal education.. more..
