Desires sudden demise.

Desires sudden demise.

A Poem by Huw

I’m going to do this

I’m going to do that

This is my desire

that is my desire

When I achieve that

I will do this

All I need is…

and then I will…

Most people never achieve

what they desired

The plans they make

are thwarted by treachery

by tribulation by anguish

by debilitating fears.

They carry their desires

into death who calls unexpectedly

The King of terrors

who doesn’t knock politely

nor wait to be beckoned.

Here lies man’s desire

unexpectedly taken.

There is a single most honourable desire that people despise and so miss out on their purpose and life.

I've been commenting on someone's drawings for a couple of months and she asked if I was a published poet. It made me laugh because I'd left school at 13 years old and never completed formal education.. more..
