...when all they do is languish.

...when all they do is languish.

A Poem by Huw

Many speak of life

as if they have it sussed

Many pretend that all is rosy in the garden

They fit and wear a brave face

a smiling falsehood

a cheery word

a momentary smile

They talk of life

when all they do is languish.

Hello Huw,

This one could absolutely be a companion piece to my latest one, titled... 'Possibilities'..

Isn't it interesting that we appear to live in parallel universes, sometimes.???

Loved this one..

I've been commenting on someone's drawings for a couple of months and she asked if I was a published poet. It made me laugh because I'd left school at 13 years old and never completed formal education.. more..
