...seen, heard and felt.

...seen, heard and felt.

A Poem by Huw

If all you hear is noise then

you are missing out on sounds

The sound of the wind passing

through the leaves on bamboo tinkles

On passing through a forest it seems to tumble

like the sound of waves on a beach

The deep bass drum sound of a gust

thumping the side of a mountain

as if demanding attention and entry

The patter of hail saying here I am

while the sound of fine rain

just falling unobtrusively

mixing its molecules with

the rest of the downpour

creating a light cascade

more to be seen and felt

heard only by the attentive

and inquisitive soul who harvests the details

in all that is seen, heard and felt.

About
I've been commenting on someone's drawings for a couple of months and she asked if I was a published poet. It made me laugh because I'd left school at 13 years old and never completed formal education.. more..
