SEEDS OF WISDOM.

SEEDS OF WISDOM.

A Poem by Huw
"

Observations.

The shadows cast by clouds on the mountains

form and depict the light in passing shapes

the shadows moving as fast as the wind

the light being constant the shadows fleeting

There are shadows cast by the mountains

that appear in the valleys below

they move but imperceptibly so, not rushing,

majestic and with consummate certainty.

The mind has imaginations that fleetingly cross

and form thoughts that disappear like mist

there are noble intentions that present themselves

as thoughts and then words that are the seeds of wisdom.

Incredible imagery. Love the flow of your poem.
My favorite line is "form thoughts that disappear like mist", thoughts and imagination like the shadows, moving through our minds so quickly forming and creating seeds from which to learn from.
Awesome, please keep writing!

I've been commenting on someone's drawings for a couple of months and she asked if I was a published poet. It made me laugh because I'd left school at 13 years old and never completed formal education.. more..
