I felt the need to express this concise example of a decision. To explain that when I say “no”
it is not open to discussion or negotiation. By saying “no” I am rejecting or refusing. And yes I am sure that I mean no and not maybe or yes or even perhaps.
I have noticed however that other peoples “no” often means please try and convince me. This is simply a case of misinformation, that leads to misunderstandings, followed by animosity.

Being polite, I will utilise the expression thank you, but didn’t want to clutter the poem and possibly diminish the veracity.
