From the same lump of clay.

From the same lump of clay.

A Poem by Huw

Equality for mankind

begins and ends

in one indisputable fact.

We are taken from

the same lump of clay.

In the reason for the taking

the making and shaping

there is no equality.

It is the choice and power

of the potter who forms.

Some as vessels of wrath

fitted for destruction

others as vessels of mercy

which He has prepared for glory.

Neither vessel has any

say in the matter.

None can say

why have you

made me thus?

About
I've been commenting on someone's drawings for a couple of months and she asked if I was a published poet. It made me laugh because I'd left school at 13 years old and never completed formal education.. more..
