Ode to an Unpoet.A Poem by HuwUnpoems do not entice or tickle the fanciful ear Unpoems shall not entertain they ne'er raise to a light refrain Unpoems seldom rhyme or tick to the pace of time Unpoems are not obvious they have a tendency toward either love or hatred in the eye of the beholder. Unpoets are often despised by the ''educated'' man with his foul air of pretended sophistication. Unpoems inform the thoughtful mind they keep the door to understanding open to all but the wilfully ignorant. Those that attempt to cross the threshold of ''Un"" will be woefully disappointed if they are not equipped by invite and intellect to do so. © 2015 Huw |
