Missing Colorado

Missing Colorado

A Poem by Hutch
"

Missing the mountains from long ago

"

I wake each morning wishing for a trail,

to place my feet on and begin to sail.

A restless breeze seems to call my name,

come back to the mountains from where you came.

A sense of longing and returning to our roots comes through here. I'm an east coast girl living in a southern California world, and there are times when I just ache to be back home again.

John Denver sang about it the best, I believe. Nice to meet you, Hutch!
