The Wind

The Wind

A Poem by Hutch
"

The Wind coveys a message

"

The wind is a spiritual connection between us all

it swirls, whispers and bumps into us with messages from far away

the wind is very emotional sometimes calm and other times in a hurry

it represents change, something new, a special request

the wind has a most unique whispering message for each object it brushes past

the mighty oak sounds a mighty roar and the tall yellow pine a peaceful whisper

old houses, barns and clotheslines seem to moan, bump and whistle

some objects draw an over abundance of wind as to be scolded to mend their ways

i'm not really sure just what the wind is saying

the emotional music played against its subject is far to beautiful

but as i hold a small acorn seed in my hand and look up at the mighty oak tree

i realize i will be climbing mountains and listening to the wind for the rest of my days.

Welcome Hutch, and again Thank You man, for you explained it all...grateful
We all grunt like cavemen until we find a voice... I would not have opened this poem with such a statement, it is not a known thing and your poem hangs on it for dear life, don't mean to sound harsh just mentioning... there is a poem in this piece and you will find it when you return to it another day, there is no doubt that you can write..... good luck, Bren
