Thru HikerA Poem by HutchThru hikers are drawn to the wilderness. Here they experience the cold rain as well as the incredible beauty of the wilderness. Here they discover themselves.
I spend my life searching for purpose thinking reading and walks alone in the wilderness i scare myself sometimes for I have a rebellious spirit hardship awakens my primal mind still there are clear lines of right and wrong a strong yearning to defend the underdog
why do I find myself alone so often the cool mountain mornings, the peaceful misty days, the gentle wind they so quietly speak to my heart as no human can
i wonder why could it be the wilderness is pure, right and has incredible purpose has my loneliness and pain been a form of payment for nature to finally reveal to me that i am the wilderness © 2014 HutchReviews
