Conservation BogA Poem by HuskReborn from significant mistakeFrustrated at his lackluster work, he halfheartedly chucked his failure in with the aluminum cans, the broken glasses, among other lost causes Reborn from significant mistake, an innovation emerged from the dank cavern He had under-calculated the significance of the overarching theme He welded together his own artificial torch, refusing the tradition of headlamps The lamp overhead appeared to radiate beams of sardonic mockery After aimlessly and seemingly longingly wandering over loosely-constructed, low-hanging bridges, the murky waters faded, revealing a familiar scroll He abandoned his work in favor of inadequate drivel, setting his pencil over the lackluster non-conclusion He glanced over the document with a wry grimace and vetoed its disparaging proposals© 2016 Husk |
