Enemy of the State

Enemy of the State

A Poem by Rae
"

Smokin's bad, don'tcha know?

"

A cigar is just a cigar

Except when it’s a baby killer,

Mass murderer,

Mother raping adulterer.

Yes, it’s destroying all you love,

Bringing down society breath by breath,

Planning the next holocaust,

Making profits by raising cost,

Ensuring that hope is lost.

Don’t you know?  Tobacco kidnapped the Lindbergh baby,

And on December 7th 1941, dropped bombs on the navy.

The devil is smoking a fat Cuban;

The smoke inspires him with new sin.

But knowing all of this I light

My friendly cigarillo at night,

And I cannot withhold a grin

As I suck its sweet aroma in.
