Inventing Anna

Inventing Anna, is a limited web-series on Netflix, it’s an American drama television miniseries created and produced by Shonda Rhimes, inspired by the story of Anna Sorokin and the article in New York’s Manhattan Magazine titled “How Anna Delvey Tricked New York’s Party People” by Jessica Pressler. The series was released on Netflix on February 11, 2022. This series is based on the real life of Anna Sorokin, but as Netflix says before every one of its episode that, “This story is completely true, except for the all the parts that are totally made up.”

 

This amazing web-series shows us how a con artist, Anna Sorokin or most popularly known as Anna Delvey fakes that she is a German Heiress and how she tricks the biggest celebs of New York. This story is based on the narration and article by Jessica Pressler. Jessica’s character was portrayed as the journalist from The Manhattan Magazine, Viven Kent.
