Life in Darkness

Life in Darkness

A Poem by HummingMaster
"

"Deep into that darkness peering, long I stood there, wondering, fearing, doubting, dreaming dreams no mortal ever dared to dream before." -Edgar Allan Poe

"
Consumed by darkness is fine
I roam in darkness alone as I wanted to roam life
To share this bliss is a sin
To meet new people is the fun within

Not attached to anyone in the boring light
As they are all straight lines and we the curvy edges of the night
We fall under a name; the outcasts of the miserable den

As I see it people split into two kinds
those who enjoy sin who make trouble and play with no grin
And then there are those who lie to stay safe, to be accepted and not considered lame

What a shame to live someone else's dream
To see only from their eyes as if you were blind
I see from all but choose to live as I see through mine.

The deeds done in the midnight hour.
"Consumed by darkness is fine
I roam in darkness alone as I wanted to roam life
To share this bliss is a sin
To meet new people is the fun within"
Leftover places and hard for some people to know. Right place or wrong. Thank you for sharing the amazing poetry.
