The Human Disgrace

The Human Disgrace

A Poem by HummingMaster
"

“I see humans but no humanity.” - Jason Donohue

"
lets think of evil as human
lets think of humans as beasts
thats whats left for us to do… to think
to think of our race as the one that brought disgrace
by taking a pace that led us to fall on our face
thinking we could do better in space
until an untied lace brings us down to the same old place.

I know we always crave
but as children who misbehave
we must be taught to not cave in what’s not ours to take
because eventually it’ll break thus putting everything at stake.

I liked how you used and twist the language.

The children of today everywhere. What do they see? A mess up world in disgrace and filled with hate. I like the poem. Honest and direct. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.

Thanks for reading! I'l glad you liked it :D
Very true. We don't always take the time to think of the consequences our actions can have on others or the world in general. Maybe if we did stop to think every once in a while the world might just be a little bit better. Great poem!
