I See...

I See...

A Poem by HummingMaster

I don't see the forest for it's trees
I see a girl that runs in tears,
I see beauty that disappears,
I see a naked girl with eyes full of tears,

I see a world full of hate,
Full of sadness,
Full of tears...

A world that knows nothing but greed
Not from our nature but from what we think is need...

I see the lust of war,
the deadly sins and much more,
I hear heavenly wrath saying "No more"...

The girl is bleeding and no one seems to care
the girl will always be looking beyond our fear
For her smile forgave those who left her to bleed
By the wounds we made on her tender heart of roses and leaves.

behold the girl who's heart is kind but not weak,
behold the one who made it through the leak;

Leak of light.
Of what might,
Hoping to see a brighter white in this world of pride.

I don't see the forest for it's trees
I see a girl who's tear wipes out fear,
I see hope all through the rain which becomes notes that are nice to hear,
So sweet to the ear,

I see beauty that reappears...

Your welcome :) im glad :)
Wow...this is an incredibly powerful piece. Greed can drive people mad and make them into such careless beings. Sigh...just the imagery in this piece is astounding and left me speechless.

That. Was. Beautiful. Possibly even more than beautiful. I actually whispered this aloud as I read it, and the bitter sweetness of the words is enchanting. Enchanting, I swear. Incredible job. :)
