Then came you

Then came you

A Poem by Heather

I was perfectly fine
My friends kept me company
School kept me busy
Then came you
You destroyed my mind
Abused my soul
Yet most of all burnt through my heart
You have no idea
How powerful my tears are
I will be sure you pay back
All the damage you have caused me
You are no good to me
I don't want you continuing in my life
I consider you my past
You treated me like a joke
I am not stupid
I will play this game way better then you ever imagined

My best friends step mom told me once that if there is someone in your life that doesn't lift you up then they are not worth having in your life. I love the poem and I can really relate to this poem.

A tough poem about an experience most of us have had to live through. Good poem.
