Chromatic AbberationA Poem by ?:
Under the LED night sky, a shiver
Suddenly the surface of the sun sounds okay Who do we become when our impulses take over? Dial in on my distraction with precision Victim of my instincts, that's never an excuse Another forfeiture of a decision If I can think rhymically, maybe I can learn to focus Stop spitting syllables, start making words This is what my voice sounds like, and this is my appearance These are the beliefs I hold for now, but likely not for long Chemical imbalances, everybody's got 'em If this is how mine work then I will try to work around it In tandem with the man-made pandemonium surrounding us Sometimes we make hysteria so that we can overcome it In all the noise and boredom, We found our homes Screaming through the dissonance The sweetest tones Can you ever have a frame of reference outside of your own? By the time I'm done refracting, you will see me upside-down As light passes through, it bends and bleeds into brown At a high enough resolution, you'll find one isn't quite so clear This future's f*****g weird man, still I couldn't feel more cavalier I assure you this assortment of words Isn't serving as a sermon of sorts It's much more like a portrait And kind of like an X-ray ?:
