Compost Heap

Compost Heap

A Poem by ?:

Another sudden schism, you're in disarray
Controlled cataclysm happening every day
So trapped by trepidation,
Tripping over your own variation

Specifically ambiguous
Your intuition is rediculous
Symbiotic cynicism,
Synonymous with the algorithm

So go on, take up shelter
Inside your virtual realities
I hope you find some sort of semblance of a solace there
The gruesome, eerie, strange, and morbid
Seem to have the closest hold on you
So immerse yourself,
But don't hurt yourself no more

Paralytic tremor humming deep beneath
It wells up in you, you try to scream
Only silence falls out from your mouth
And there you reside

An iridescent, blue-tailed fish
Sits in a jar, on a bench, on a beach
Staring softly, ever fondly
At the ocean so close beyond its reach

In the eye of the monsoon
A thunderous greyness surrounds you,
Bringing comfort in the discordance and the calamity
Your salvation so temporary
It's bound to dissipate, so
Reformulate
Reiterate
Retaliate
