Perfect Moment

Perfect Moment

A Poem by L. Spencer

As I walk to fetch my writing book,
I am in no rush
For I am thinking of perfect moments,
Like the feel of that touch

Perfect moments are real,
Do not be deceived
You could think of them too,
Just sit and think and you'll see

The buzzing of an insect
Rings in my head
While I sit here and think
About the things I never said

How laying on that floor
Meant much to me
And turning over to see that smile
Happily, there it be

It's silly, undoubtedly
But nonetheless, a memory
I'll never forget that perfect moment
And I hope that sometimes you'll think of me
