Cold, but I'm still here

Cold, but I'm still here

A Poem by Veronica Franco
"

The song really does say it all, but sometimes you have to just let someone push you away

"

Destiny crashed our lives together
Wanted to be someone to you
My love is feared and dejected
Apprehension is everywhere
A mind set on being desolate
Someone that cares is unfathomable
Affection and Tenderness can not be forced
What I offer is not needed or desired
Warnings are given over and over again
Foolishly, ignoring what you convey
If I truly do care, I must walk away
You’ll only hurt me, as you say
Follow the crumbs, I’ll sprinkle behind
If you ever make up that mind

WOW! I thought this was awesome! What great expression of wanting and needing and longing only to be rejected and still pursuing in vain. Been there! You did such a great job of displaying all of the emotions that come with the roller coaster ride of pursuing an unattainable goal. Kudos to you!
