Happy and free

Happy and free

A Poem by Hemang Pushkar

In the longest of day and darkest of night,
I learn to live and I learn to strive.

The time as it passes and the moments go,
I 'now realize I shouldve let it go.

For what is wrong and what is right,
In the end its not the fight.

I wish to stop and run and gain,
As I am happy to be free again.

The mighty may stay and the weaker may fall,
And I know I am not destined for all.

But the truth today is to always be true.
As long as you are being you.

And in the end what matters the most,
Is the way I carry and the way I host.

For I may be short of sunshine and rain,
But I am happy to be free again.

To the longest of day and the darkest of night.
I stand here today and I will fight.

As freedom is mortal and I will be bound,
I shall search myself again and I'll be found

Those moments will come which gives me pain,
But I'll be happy and free again

Thanks a lot Sir. :)
No matter where we are in the world we can be bound physically or mentally. Either way it was a beautiful piece of to me escaping something holding you back from life. Thank you for sharing.
