Moon in the morning sky

Moon in the morning sky

A Poem by Relic

I saw him last night,

a full face,
festive and glowing.

This morning,
he was out early.
He looked weary,
pale, and hungover.
His collar turned up,
covering his chin,
overall, he looked
bewildered.

When I came out this
afternoon,
he'd wandered off.
He's probably looking for
the hair of the dog
that bit him... the one
howling last night.

Yes, the hair of the dog has bitten many. Unfortunately, these bites never seem to heal. They just beg to b fed again.
