Going through this with my aunt at present. All recent storage gone. The stuff going back to the war years is recalled in detail and technicolor. Luckily she still knows me. I see many when I visit her, who are far worse. Keep the brain active I say. Exercise it. Boredom is a killer. Clever use of metaphor Tim.

Aww, I remember the blue screen of death, which is like computers version of being grounded AND on the naughty step at the same time.
My memory is randomly compromised at the best of times, but permanent life deletion doesn't sound as bad as it would have when I was thirty. I'd maybe sign up for part time deletion, telling them I can't work Thursdays, but can manage every third Sunday! 😊

I used to work in a facility where there were many patients diagnosed with dementia. The last line reflects the lot of many of them. Assisted suicide isn't really such a bad thing.
