The saddest part. Many great writers die and their words die with them. Thank you God, Emily Dickerson sister and her friend found 1600 poems written on paper. She was published and she never knew. How she influence a generation of writer. Even today. Us, we love to write. I am glad you do my friend. Thank you for sharing the amazing poetry and your thoughts.

Thank you very much, Coyote. I appreciate your comments.
as poets we all there my friend, sometimes I spend long hours editing a poem until my eyes and head hurt, even my stomach because of all the energy, and I no longer have a sense... and yes unfortunately sometimes I also at the end begin to dislike the poem somehow. I know then I should leave it and give space for my poem to breathe, and later I will read it with new brain and eyes :) as for the site and its editing issues it's another story. all the best for You my friend, stay creative💕
if I let my inner editor... he would stop me from printing anything:/ I started to write a short story about my inner editor he is a loathsome creature filled with self-doubt and obsessive compulsions. his teeth are all ground to nubs and his room is filled with sourcebooks and references he has many computer screens running at the same time searching for possible plagiarism and grammar and punctuation checkers. He sometimes manages to finish a sentence that hasn't been written before and meets all of the criteria for a decent write but it makes very little sense and he can think of nothing to follow up on it with so he then cuts it out of his sheet of paper and sticks it to the wall his wall is now two feet thick covered in his notes as he bellows in exaustion and clenches his teeth he is a most loathsome fellow

ha, and I thought I had it bad. :) Your writing has never been bad if you ask me. Perhaps you're me.. read moreha, and I thought I had it bad. :) Your writing has never been bad if you ask me. Perhaps you're method is unique and you don't know it. Although it sounds like you may need to relax a bit more...like me. :)))
You know a writer has all those thoughts before posting a piece. I have been known to delete a poem once or twice and once I have posted I rarely revise. You have to have some courage to put your work out there. Thanks for sharing Tim. Relatable, believe me.
Irreverent and true in every word. And ironically satirical at the same time. Thank you, Relic, for always sharing your truth because it speaks to all of us who empathize and see ourselves in it.
