![]() Mingled Flocks Rhyme poem)A Poem by Relic![]() Shedding leaves from autumn trees Move from place to place. Like yo yo's lifted by a string They float with agile grace. Mingled flocks of complex hues Dispatch their flocks so spry Cascading to the silken grass 'Til winds nudge them to fly. Colored leaves - that paint our trees, I wish that you could stay But flakes that fall from sullen skies Will soon be on their way. Had I the power to curtail The snow that soon will spread I'd surely deviate and veer The cold that you so dread. Alas, we must not disregard Our peers who love the snow Those white hills hold a blissful charm To which they love to go. So let us all prepare ourselves For what is soon to be. For be it leaves, or be it snow, A good life is the key.
