Taming the clouds of lonesomeness

Taming the clouds of lonesomeness

A Poem by Relic

When I'd found
the warmth of your waist replaced
            by sunrise ribbons
                                      on the bed

I felt no more alive
              than cut grass
                       pushed aside
                                          by daisies...

My color
      had drained
rains of worry
                 fell untamed.

But for you
      I'd rope the moon
             or lasso long sunsets.

I'd break the clouds of loneliness
                      to saddle
                                   joyful bliss.

Content to know
        I'd tied the reins
              of love around your heart.

Willing to ride
             the extra mile
it takes to get you home.

Extremely romantic. Some very unique descriptive language. That first stanza absolutely captivated me.

Thanks so much Rojas. :)
You've melted me down like butter upon toasted bread.

"But for you
my dear
I'd rope the moon,
and lasso long lost sunsets."
