Six Feet

Six Feet

A Poem by Chad

When Night defeats Day, in such a way I feel that it will never end, I remember you. Although darkness has consumed the Earth and demons walk among us, I find sanctuary in the thought that you protect me, as you always did. Though you are gone, your presence still lingers to drive away the demons. Oh, how beautifully your names shine in the dim moonlight. I must admit that six feet has never felt so far away before.
