Return to Sender

Return to Sender

A Poem by Chad

Lust had captivated me for so long that I became unaware that I was lost. We had gone our seperate ways long before I followed in your forsaken footsteps. Long before you left them for me to follow so foolishly. Love had motivated me for so long that I became unaware that you were not really there. Aside from the pain, the knife in my back left only a scar. As much as it hurt, I puled it out as you pulled my heart, so tender, from within my very chest. Please, return to sender, and finally, I may rest in peace.
